The service

CheckLondon provides an online platform for listings, directory entries, guides and related tools. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

Accounts and listings

You are responsible for your account credentials and for the accuracy of content you post. Listings and messages must comply with applicable law and our moderation rules. We may remove or restrict content or accounts that breach these terms or pose risk to users or the platform.

Transactions between users

Deals struck between buyers, renters, sellers and businesses are directly between those parties. CheckLondon is not a party to those contracts unless explicitly stated. Users should verify identities, property details and payment arrangements independently.

Intellectual property

The site’s branding, software and design are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain rights in content you submit but grant us a licence to host, display and promote it in connection with the service.

Liability

The service is provided on an “as is” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that listings are accurate. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.
