Frequently asked questions

General — account & listings

Open Register, enter your email, choose a display name, and create a strong password. You’ll need to confirm your email before some features unlock. If you already have an account, use Sign in.

Sign in, then use Post listing or choose a category (property, cars, rentals, services directory, classifieds). Complete the form, add photos where prompted, and submit. Some categories may require moderation before going live.

Go to My account and open the right section (e.g. property, vehicles). Select your listing and choose Edit. Save your changes — updates may be reviewed again depending on category.

Business — verification & premium

Use your Business dashboard to complete your storefront details and follow any verification steps shown there. You may be asked for company information or documents. Our team reviews submissions — email support@checklondon.com if you’re stuck.

Verified London businesses have passed our checks so users can see a higher trust signal on directory entries and related listings. Verification is about identity and policy compliance — it does not guarantee quality of every transaction.

Premium or paid plans (where available) are managed through your business subscription area. Open Business dashboard to view your current plan, quotas, and upgrade options. For billing questions, contact support@checklondon.com.

Payments & subscriptions

Business plans may limit how many listings or featured slots you can use. Check your Business dashboard for live usage. Invoice or payment questions should go to support@checklondon.com with your business name and account email.

Reporting & safety

If you’re signed in, use the Report option on a listing where available, or email support@checklondon.com with screenshots and links. For urgent harm or crime, contact the police and emergency services.

On the listing page, sign in and use the report form (reason + details). That routes your report to our moderation team. Include the exact URL of the listing and what looks wrong (e.g. scam, duplicate, misleading price).

Technical

Try Forgot password and check spam for reset emails. Ensure caps lock is off and you’re using the correct email. If you use two-factor authentication, have your authenticator app ready. Still blocked? Email support@checklondon.com from your registered address.

Check junk/spam and allowlist our domain. Wait a few minutes and try resending from the sign-up or profile flow. If nothing arrives after 24 hours, contact support@checklondon.com with your email address (no passwords).

Try a hard refresh, another browser, or disable extensions that block scripts. Clear cache for this site. If the problem persists on more than one device or network, email support@checklondon.com with your browser version, device, and a screenshot if possible.
