Merton

Merton is a South West London borough centred on Wimbledon and extending south through Morden and Mitcham toward the Surrey border. It is perhaps best known internationally for the All England Lawn Tennis Club — host of Wimbledon Championships — but offers a well-rounded residential proposition characterised by good schools, accessible green space, and solid transport links. The District line and National Rail (South Western Railway) both serve Wimbledon, making it one of the better-connected Outer London stations. Wimbledon to Waterloo takes approximately 17 minutes by train. The District line also stops at Wimbledon Park and Colliers Wood. Morden is the southern terminus of the Northern line, with journey times to the City around 40 minutes. Tramlink connects Wimbledon to Croydon via Mitcham, providing a useful surface link.
